Cameras go into standby mode with a box on the screen saying standby mode. This doesn't happen when viewing on my phone app. I have 1gig broadband. I couldn't find any option on my nvr rln12w that will keep the camera from going to sleep in standby mode. Atlas PT Ultra supports continuous recording.
